Welcome to the Presentation of the Opportunities Offered by the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) webinar
On September 14 (10:30-11:30 a.m. Moscow time), Business Russia invites you to take part in the webinar on the following topic: Presentation of the Opportunities Offered by the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD). Director Commercial of the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi Khalid Al Marzooqi will tell the members of Business Russia about the assets of one of the most advanced industrial zones of the UAE.
The event will be held within the framework of the FTZ Awareness Promotion consultation project, prepared by the team of the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE. The project webinars are devoted to the registration of companies in the UAE, the peculiarities of Free Zones, as well as the selection of the most suitable Free Zones for the specific requests of entrepreneurs.
KIZAD is one of the most dynamically developing Free Zones in the UAE, offering the best conditions for running manufacturing business and featuring the most favorable location. It is located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and is tied to the Khalifa deep-water port, which handles all container shipments in the Emirate. KIZAD is characterized by a unique transport accessibility: there are direct sea routes from the Khalifa port to 70 international ports. All this makes KIZAD a convenient platform for localizing production or organizing export to the UAE, as well as re-export to other countries.
Today, more than 1,400 companies from all over the world are registered in KIZAD. The main sectors developing in the Free Zone include oil and gas industry, energy, polymer production, metallurgy, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries, automotive engineering (as well as car trade, with a car terminal located at Khalifa port), logistics.
In addition to favorable conditions for a company registration, which include low costs for opening a representative office and renting warehouses and industrial sites, KIZAD opens-up a number of unique privileges for its residents. Besides, one of the advantages of KIZAD for the companies belonging to Business Russia members is the growth of the business association’s production site on the territory of the Free Zone. This will enable cooperation between Russian residents, the collective use of infrastructure to reduce costs and accelerate business development.
It should be noted that the webinar will be held in the run-up to the business mission of Business Russia to the UAE, which will take place from September 26 through September 30. As part of the business trip, entrepreneurs will participate in the WETEX International Exhibition, an also visit the key Free Zones of the UAE, including KIZAD.
