The volume of the UAE trade with the rest of the world exceeded $1 trillion in 2022

The share of UAE imports in global trade was 22%, while exports increased by 41% to $599 billion, mainly thanks to the increase in crude oil prices. According to the WTO, the UAE ranked 11th in the world in exports and 18th in imports of goods in 2022. Besides, it ranked 12th in the world in volume of services exports reaching $249 billion.
