REC has published a Newsletter on restrictive measures against the Russian Federation

The Russian Export Center has published a Newsletter on restrictive measures against the Russian Federation. It contains up-to-date information on financial and trade restrictions, restrictions related to freedom of movement, as well as on any other measures that may affect the activities of exporters.

As the report of REC states, the purpose of this document is to form a real and verified picture of the restrictions that apply to Russian exporters and their businesses.

The Newsletter reflects information on financial and trade restrictions, limitations related to freedom of movement, as well as on any other measures that may have an influence on the activities of exporters. In order to help to understand the flow of information and figure out the factual situation, they are divided by country and sectioned into two categories: «Imposed restrictions» and «Announced restrictions».

In addition, in the Newsletter you can find a «Heat map of restrictions», which will provide insight to the current stances of the countries regarding the introduction of restrictive measures in a visual form.

It should be noted that the United Arab Emirates is among the countries that have not imposed restrictions against the Russian Federation. At the same time, the UAE voted in favour of the UN General Assembly resolution demanding that the Russian Federation immediately cease a special military operation in Ukraine.

Also, exporters will be able to learn from the Newsletter about the latest changes in Russian laws and regulations related to foreign trade operations, find a list of companies that are subject to restrictions, as well as get acquainted with the detailed information on specific export markets.

As the Russian Export Center has announced, the information will be updated periodically.
