Presentation of the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE and the possibilities of the industrial zone KIZAD will be held on February 17 as part of a webinar

On February 17, at 13:00 (Moscow time), a webinar on «Business Russia Trade House in the UAE and KIZAD Industrial Zone: new opportunities for Russian producers and exporters» will be held. The speakers of the event will be Business Ambassador of Business Russia in the UAE Maksim Zagornov and Khalid Al Marzooqi, Commercial Director of Khalifa Abu Dhabi Free and Industrial Zone (KIZAD).

The United Arab Emirates for the last two years is in the zone of close attention of entrepreneurs from all over the world, including Russia. The World Exhibition EXPO-2020, active development of infrastructure, unprecedented policy of business support (including during the pandemic), as well as a comfortable tax regime (in the Emirates there are no taxes on profits, personal income, low import duties on goods) — all this makes the UAE the most attractive for international cooperation.

Today there are thousands of Russian companies working in the UAE, more than fifty thousand Russians permanently reside in the Emirates. The UAE ranks first among the GCC countries by the volume of direct foreign investments from Russia. Trade between our countries shows constant growth. Only for the last 10 years the trade turnover between Russia and the UAE has increased tenfold, and in 2020, despite the pandemic restrictions, it has grown by a record 80% and reached 3.3 billion dollars.

Given the request of Russian companies, the interaction of Business Russia with the UAE has now entered an active phase. Cooperation agreements have been signed with the Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Chambers of Commerce, the representative office of Business Russia Business Ambassador in the UAE was opened in Abu Dhabi, business missions to the Emirates are regularly held (one of the last — to EXPO-2020 in December 2021). The key project of 2022 is the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE — a platform created for the implementation of export projects of Russian entrepreneurs-members of the business association.

Trade House Business Russia in the UAE will be located in the Khalifa Abu Dhabi Free and Industrial Zone (KIZAD) — a special zone that offers attractive conditions for doing business, as well as the most advantageous location (next to the seaport Khalifa Port and three international airports, giving easy access to consumers not only of the UAE but also of the Middle East).

During the webinar we will talk in detail about the possibilities of the Business Ambassador Team of Business Russia in the UAE, the areas of activity and prospects for the development of the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE. And also, the advantages of location in the KIZAD Free Zone, one of the largest industrial zones in the world with area of 550 square kilometers, providing all necessary communications and advanced infrastructure.
