Non-oil-related external trade of the UAE reaches record levels

In 2022, its total volume amounted to 2.23 trillion dirhams (607 billion dollars).

This figure is 17% higher than that of 2021 and sets the absolute record of the UAE in recent years. The largest trade partners of the UAE are China (2022 trade volume is 264.5 billion dirhams), India (180.9 billion dirhams), Saudi Arabia (135.2 billion dirhams), the USA (110 billion dirhams).

New Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPA) contributed to the growth of foreign non-oil trade. In 2022, CEPAs were concluded with India, Israel and Indonesia.

Today, negotiations with Turkey, Georgia, Colombia and Cambodia are going on.
