Maksim Zagornov took part in the conference «Export free of Borders»

On November 27, the «Business Russia» Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Maksim Zagornov took part in the conference «Export Borders to Erase» in Chelyabinsk. The event, organized by the “Territory of Business” Center, brought together over two hundred owners of small and medium businesses of the South Ural, willing to start export activities or strengthen their positions in the international market.

As the Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Egor Kovalchuk noted, export of goods and services is one of the most hopeful points of economy growth of the region. And the government of the region faces the task of shifting the emphasis from commodity exports to exports of goods and services of small and medium businesses. This was confirmed by the Director of Regional Projects of the Russian Export Center Natalia Minayeva, announcing the Russian Federation Government plans to increase the export of non-oil business by 2024 up to 250 billion US dollars (now this figure is 149 billion dollars) and calling on businessmen to «open more actively to the world.»

The «Business Russia» Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Maksim Zagornov explained how to do this efficiently, presenting the possibilities of this country and confirming the huge interest of the Arab world in the products from Russia. «I am convinced that there are no borders for Russian and, especially, South Ural goods. We are quite competitive in the international market. We have something to offer to the world» - noted the expert.

Maksim Zagornov invited the entrepreneurs to the representative offices of the business ambassador in Dubai, Moscow and Chelyabinsk, and also sponsored a series of joint training seminars in the «Territory of Business» center.
