DMCC registers a record number of resident companies in 2022

DMCC, one of the leading free economic zones in the world, has declared the best result in its history. In 2022, DMCC welcomed 3,049 newly registered companies. The residents number grew up by 23%. That is a new DMCC record to break that of 2021, when 2,485 new members were registered.

The record growth of the residents number was driven by the increased international demand, including that from Russia, as well as by the growing demand from the companies involved in blockchain and Web 3.0.

In 2022, a record growth of the DMCC Crypto Center was registered. Today, it comprises 500 companies. The DMCC Crypto Center signed an agreement with Brinc venture capital firm and granted its members access to the acceleration fund (150m).
