Business Russia Trade House in the UAE starts active work on export projects of the members of the business association
The Business Russia Trade House in the UAE, presented in mid-February, has begun intensive work on export projects of the business association's members. Opening a company in the UAE, organizing export supplies of materials and raw materials through the Emirates, providing comprehensive support for the introduction of Russian products to the Emirati market are among the most urgent requests.
The Business Russia Trade House in the UAE, created on the initiative of the organization's Business Ambassador to the UAE Maksim Zagornov, was presented on February 18, 2022. Already on March 3, after a neutral position of the United Arab Emirates in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis had been officially designated, it began active work on the operational requests of the business association's members to bring companies to the Emirati market.
So far, more than 50 urgent requests have been received from the owners of Business Russia companies. Optimal decisions have been made on the part of requests and joint work has begun.
According to Maksim Zagornov, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE, most of the appeals are related to the provision of prompt assistance: carrying out urgent payment transactions through Emirati banks; organizing export supplies of materials and raw materials through the Emirates; organizing alternative logistics of export cargo from Europe to Russia through the UAE. Some of the appeals were also of a strategic nature: there were many requests for assistance in opening a company in the UAE, as well as in placing large-scale production and repackaging on the territory of the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE.
Let us remind that the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE is located on the territory of the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) - a special zone offering favorable conditions for running a business, as well as featuring the most advantageous location: next to the Khalifa Port seaport, three international airports and near key UAE highways. Such strategic location will enable the residents of the Trade House to have effective access to consumers not only in the UAE, but also throughout the Middle East.
As Maksim Zagornov noted, taking into account the current political and economic conditions, the market of the United Arab Emirates is regarded as the most promising for the implementation of export projects of Russian companies. The trade turnover between the Russian Federation and the UAE has increased 10-fold over the past 10 years and today it amounts to more than $ 5 billion. The UAE consistently takes a friendly position towards Russia and offers the most convenient conditions for the development of Russian business in the UAE.
It should be noted that from March 24 to March 30, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE Maksim Zagornov is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates. Within the framework of the trip, meetings are planned with representatives of business structures, the leadership of the leading UAE banks, the administration of the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), as well as the owners of Russian companies who are currently in the UAE. The agenda includes the discussion of issues related to the development of the Business Russia Trade House in the UAE, the elaboration of a number of export projects of the members of Business Russia.
