«Business Russia» companies to take part in the UAE-Russian Business Forum in Sharjah

On February 19, within the framework of the 3rd meeting of the Working Group on Industry, Investment and Innovation of the Russian-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, Sharjah will host the UAE-Russian Business Forum, which will bring together representatives of the authorities and business of both countries. The event is organized by the Department of Economic Development of Sharjah, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Industry with assistance of the «Business Russia».

The UAE-Russian Business Forum in Sharjah is aimed at expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, strengthening ties between the business communities of Russia and the United Arab Emirates, and finding new investment opportunities.

Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation A. V. Gruzdev, Undersecretary of UAE Ministry of Energy and Industry HE Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi will take part in the business forum. The key part of the forum will be B2B-talks between Russian and Emirates companies, where the most topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economic and investment cooperation, industry, energy, information technologies, etc., will be discussed.

It should be noted that the UAE-Russian Business Forum will be held on the margins of the 3rd meeting of the Working Group on Industry, Investment and Innovation of the Intergovernmental Russian-Emirati Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation. Participants of the Business Forum will be able to participate in the Plenary Session of the Working Group and the Signing Ceremony of the final Protocol.

In the list of Emirates companies planning to take part in the business forum are the leading enterprises of the UAE: ENBISYS, DEEP 2000, Altarix, NNTC, PSS IOT, etc. In the list of Russian companies - «Russian Helicopters» JSC, PJSC «Transneft», «ChelPipe» PJSC, The MKS Group of Companies, «RDC» Solar Energy» LLC, «ROSSKAT» JSC, etc.

NB: the «Business Russia» successfully interacts with many regions of the United Arab Emirates. The most effective interaction is built with the Emirates of Sharjah, where the Agreement on Cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sharjah with the «Business Russia» was signed in 2019. The UAE-Russian Business Forum will be a new step to strengthen business cooperation between the «Business Russia» and the UAE companies.
